B2B Marketing Word on the Street: We Count on Me.

This Week’s B2B Word on the Street is: WE COUNT ON ME.

As a B2B marketing agency, we help our clients sell their products and services to other businesses. But we also help them communicate internally to encourage, inform, educate and sometimes entertain their employees.

With the ever-evolving opportunities and challenges presented by social media, it is more important than ever that companies, brands and business-to-business marketers have a bottom-up, top-down shared understanding and commitment.

Well-planned and purposed internal communications pay ongoing dividends. Not only will your human resources department see the positive results of a more engaged workforce, your marketing department will have mobilized more positive messaging outreach via every point of contact your people have with your customers.

We always try to practice what we preach, so I am encouraging everyone I work with to take this to heart, both individually and as a team: “We’re MLT. We count on me.”

Billy Mitchell is the president and creative director of Atlanta-based B2B marketing firm MLT Creative. Located on the east side of Atlanta, GA, with a Northeast office in Rhode Island, Mitchell co-founded MLT Creative in 1984 along with partners Craig Lindberg and Glenn Taylor.

Known as the Idea Launch Pad™ for B-to-B marketers, MLT Creative’s services include strategic planning, positioning, brand development, advertising and sales promotions for business-to-business clients.
