What is your favorite brand (or ad) and why? The Grateful Dead not only resisted selling out, they went against every commercial rule by allowing their followers to record their music. However, they did so with laser-like focus and understanding the benefits for long-term brand management.
What is your creative process? I start by daydreaming about how something is going to be used. Then picture myself as the recipient and think about what would feel good because we are influenced by feelings, not logic. More is usually revealed during my sleep and I'll wake-up with ideas or solutions. I tell clients that their issues keep me up at night until I figure them out. Little do they know that I'm saying it literally!
What's your favorite thing about MLT? Why? If I were to write about the agency-wide talent, the positive leadership or the freedom to reach my professional best... it would sound canned. So I'll tell you how much I really like the bathrooms. I'm not kidding. They are so nice that I brought in bath towels because paper towels seemed out-of-place. I also think the door knobs are gorgeous.
What is your core belief? We can only receive what we give.
Name one thing not many people know about you: As part of a genetic study, my roots trace back over 2000 years to the area that is now Austria/Poland.
