Atlanta-based B2B marketing firm MLT Creative recently teamed up with Storyville Coffee Company to host an evening of live music, the profits from which went toward the fight against modern-day slavery and human trafficking.

On June 29, Atlanta-based B2B marketing firm MLT Creative joined forces with Seattle’s Storyville Coffee Company to host Storyville Live, a coffee-and-concert event to benefit the fight against modern-day slavery and human trafficking.

MLT Creative hosted Storyville Live at its Creative Campus.MLT Creative held the concert on its campus of bungalow-style offices on the east side of Atlanta. The show was well-attended and guests were able to enjoy the music in an environment the agency has created for special events.  Attendees were treated to the musical stylings of Jonathan Kingham and Ryan Shea Smith, two up-and-coming musicians from Seattle.

The duo traded vocal duties throughout the night as they played two full sets of songs from their respective albums, as well as a masterful cover of the ‘90s-era Bobby Brown classic, “Every Little Step.” It was during this song that Kingham launched into an extended freestyle, deftly improvising lyrics about Storyville Coffee, MLT Creative, various concert attendees and the event itself. When he finished, the crowd erupted with applause.

After the show, MLT Creative invited all of its guests, including Storyville Coffee and the musicians, to an after party at the nearby Brockett Pub House & Grill.

MLT Creative, Storyville and all who attended helped raise thousands of dollars for the International Justice Mission (IJM), an organization that seeks to stamp out the practice of modern-day slavery and human trafficking around the world.

ATLANTA, GEORGIA - June 23, 2010 - Local bean fiends will soon have the chance to apply their coffee cravings to an important humanitarian cause.

B2B marketing firm hosts good cause concertAtlanta-based B2B marketing firm MLT Creative is hosting a concert along with Storyville Coffee Company as part of the Storyville Live Freedom Tour, with 100 percent of profits going to fight modern-day slavery and human trafficking around the world. MLT Creative's picturesque, tree-canopied Clarkston campus will serve as the backdrop for the event, which will feature musicians Jonathan Kingham and Ryan Shea Smith.

Plans for the concert came together several months ago, when Storyville Co-President Ryan Gamble reached out to MLT co-founder and Creative Director Billy Mitchell.

"Gamble had done some homework on us," Mitchell said, "and he came to me prepared with an idea he thought I'd be interested in. And he was right."

Gamble wanted MLT Creative's help in hosting a concert as part of the Storyville Live Freedom Tour, which holds live music events across the country to benefit the International Justice Mission, a global human rights agency that seeks justice for victims of slavery, sexual exploitation and other forms of violent oppression. As a long-time supporter of charitable causes - not to mention an avid coffee enthusiast - Mitchell was doubly eager to participate.

"While speaking with Ryan, I realized that, like MLT, Storyville is a cool company that believes in doing well by doing good," Mitchell said. "Just as we've long supported local nonprofits such as Genesis Shelter, Storyville has taken up a global cause they're equally passionate about, and we're doing our part to help."

MLT Creative invites clients and other guests to partake in a nightB2B marketing can help people of laid-back live music with desserts and Storyville coffee, and to support Storyville Live's ongoing efforts to fight an international problem that still affects more than 27 million people today.

The concert will be held Tuesday, June 29 at MLT Creative's home office, 4020 E. Ponce de Leon Ave., Clarkston, Ga. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the music begins at 7:30. Tickets are $35. To purchase, call 888-323-3347 or visit www.mltcreative.com/storyville.
