Certifications Awarded by Inbound Marketing University Training Program
Atlanta, Ga., February 19, 2010 - Inbound Marketing University awarded the Inbound Marketing Certification to six members of the MLT Creative staff recently as part of its comprehensive training program for Internet marketing. Creative Directors Martine Hunter and Brian Sheppard were the inaugural awardees, receiving their certifications last Fall. Strategy Director Patrick Maness along with Account Executives Vann Morris, Kelly Pires and Sarah Young each obtained certification with the most recent class this week.
This HubSpot-administered certification acknowledges MLT Creative's drive for ongoing professional development, as well as proficiency in the principles and best practices of inbound marketing. These principles include: blogging, search engine optimization, social media, lead conversion, lead nurturing and closed-loop analysis.

In total, 1,300 individuals have successfully passed the IMU program, which includes 16 in-depth classes covering every facet of inbound marketing, as well as a comprehensive certification exam.
The courses are taught by a knowledgeable faculty of professors, including New York Times best-selling author Chris Brogan, Google's Analytics Evangelist Avinash Kaushik, Internet celebrity Gary Vaynerchuk, best-selling author and international speaker David Meerman Scott, and more.
