MLT Creative Scores AMY Wins For Integrated Marketing, Event Marketing

Atlanta-based B2B marketing agency MLT Creative received two wins out of three nominations at the 2011 Atlanta Marketer of the Year Awards.
ATLANTA, GEORGIA – April 11, 2011 – For the fourth straight year, Atlanta-based marketing agency MLT Creative had a victorious evening at The Atlanta Marketer of the Year Awards (AMYs), earning coveted trophies in the categories of “B2B Integrated Marketing Campaign” and “Event Marketing Campaign – Under $100K.” The annual ceremony was held March 24 at the Fabulous Fox Theatre in Atlanta.
MLT Creative scored its Integrated Marketing win for its work with Unisource Worldwide Inc., a leading marketer and supplier of small business supplies. The agency’s recognition for Event Marketing Campaign honored its work for the global education and training company, NIIT.
“We put together some campaigns we were extremely proud of, but we were also up against some tough competition,” said MLT President and Creative Director Billy Mitchell, “so to even be nominated was an honor. But to win – especially in the Integrated Marketing category for the fourth time in a row – is an incredible achievement for this agency.”
MLT was also among the nominees in the “Visual Branding/Identity” category for its redesign of the 2011 B2BTOTY Awards (B2B Twitterer of the Year), which honor individuals and organizations for outstanding contributions in the promotion and use of Twitter in B2B marketing.
“Being nominated for our work with the B2BTOTY Awards was very gratifying,” Mitchell said. “Our studio put an immense amount of effort and talent into designing the B2BTOTY website, as well as creating – for the first time in the event’s history – a physical trophy to give to the winners.”
Founded by the Atlanta chapter of the American Marketing Association, the AMY Awards honor the top advertising and marketing in the city. According to the event’s official website, “The AMYs celebrate more than just great creative — they reward companies that craft innovative strategies, unforgettable creative and produce outstanding results.”
