HUG: what a fitting, warm and fuzzy nickname for the HubSpot User Group. Members of the inbound marketing team at MLT Creative attended the HubSpot User Group (HUG2010) in Boston last fall. This first-ever national conference attracted more than 300 enthusiastic HubSpot users to various workshops, Q&A sessions and seminars. The passionate HubSpot presenters shared advanced tips and secrets with the rapt audience.
We were honored to learn from HubSpotters, but the sharing of ideas with fellow users was a particular pleasure. Some touted their ongoing successes and growth, while others listened intently for nuggets they could take home and apply to their own inbound marketing programs. We were, indeed, hugging, sharing the HubSpot love. We left Boston with new like-minded friends with whom we had embraced virtually, and some, physically.
Inspired by the value of the connections and knowledge exchange, and wanting to continue growing, MLT Creative is opening our doors to fellow HubSpot users in Atlanta. We’re excited about this opportunity to meet, share ideas with and learn from other businesses that employ inbound marketing.
The HubSpot User Group Atlanta, nicknamed HUG ATL, will meet for the first time on Tuesday, April 5, at the MLT Creative campus on the east side of Atlanta. The event will be held in the Idea Launch Lab, a new meeting facility with the space and technology to help us communicate and collaborate openly. We are thrilled to welcome fellow HubSpot users to our creative campus.

Subsequent HUG ATL meetings will be scheduled bi-monthly through 2011, and will cover inbound marketing strategies and techniques using the HubSpot software via help sessions, demonstrations and virtual presentations from HubSpot in Boston.
